How to be Happy ALL THE TIME

"I don't know how you do it, I wish I could be as happy as you all the time"

And to simply to answer the statement I get asked regularly, is

I don't always leave my house and come to my class in the best mood, but I always leave my class to go to my house in an amazing mood.

I am human and sometimes I don't feel like smiling, but I have to admit, teaching a class is EUPHORIC.

No other words can describe the incredible high I feel after having a whole room full of people are dancing with you, laughing, giggling, I have NEVER in all my years teaching, left a class in a bad mood! I actually think it is impossible.

My goal is to help everyone, even if it is just for that 1 hour class, to escape whatever is going on and enjoy a rare moment of pure joy as they are laughing, smiling and singing away with everyone.

One of my favorite quotes below was said by Robin Williams:

I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that. - Robin Williams

I find this really hits the nail on the head. My partner has depression and I have seen how consumed someone can get, and it is absolutely heartbreaking for them and everyone around them to watch a person you love and care about fall into a deep dark hole and sometimes they cannot see clear way out.

The day I first witnessed my partner shrink into a shell of who he was, was the day I promised I would never let anyone leave my class without a smile.

So yes, I am probably over the top happy, crazily energetic, or I say the worst dad jokes going but it is me, and you know what, it may be just what someone needs!
